nice location in the middle of jackson, amazingly attentive staff, everything was perfect. location: the hotel was near to naoshima and the museums and the island. i had coffee at cafe ippo, located within 10 minutes walk. the service was superb, that made the property exceptional place. i thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

The kaiseki dinner was mind-blowingly delicious, a true culinary art 😊 The room was spacious, and the staff was super accommodating. Just wish the hot spring bath had natural springs instead of liquid.

For such a price, the rigidity around meal times felt silly!!! Not being able to grab a snack without a shuttle ride is inconvenient!!! Room lighting options could have been better!!!

Naoshima Ryokan Roka is fine! The room was spacious with tatami mats and a perfect open-air bath. Our meals, especially the kaiseki dinner, were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The staff arranged transportation.
The western breakfast could use some improvement.

Super sleek vibes
Staying here felt so posh! The private bath was a highlight, super relaxing after a day exploring. The breakfast at the lounge area was delicious, especially the pastries. Just a bit bummed that the shuttle service wasn't around all the time, made getting around a lil tricky sometimes.
